Media and Marketing Strategist at The Center for Optimal Living

The Center for Optimal Living is a private psychotherapy practice that provides services to individuals, couples, and families to address mental health and substance use issues with a harm reduction framework. The Center also provides trainings and hosts events nationally and internationally.

We are seeking a part-time, freelancer to work with our team at The Center for Optimal Living, an outpatient private practice in NYC focused on providing treatment for people with substance use and mental health issues using a harm reduction framework. The ideal candidate would have expertise in designing fliers and other marketing materials for events and trainings, create blog posts and newsletters, update our center’s website regularly, regularly update social media for marketing purposes, and have proficiency with programs such as MailChimp, Eventbrite, Photoshop, Office, and WordPress. We are looking to hire a motivated person who is interested in working with us long-term and who can work relatively independently once trained.

Job Requirements: Basic graphic design skills, proficiency with Photoshop, Office, and WordPress. Be able to regularly update center’s website and create fliers and newsletters for marketing purposes. Create posts and update MailChimp and Eventbrite.

Compensation: Based on experience.

Hours per Week: varies week to week, ranges from 5-10 hours per week.
